Bihar: Mr. Sailendra Kumar Dwivedi assumed his office as the new Registrar of
Berhampur University on December 1, 2017.

An Odisha
Administrative Officer (OAS) cadre Mr. Dwivedi took charge from his predecessor
Mr. Remish Kerketta. Before joining here, he was working as the joint-secretary
in the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department of Odisha
Government.
Speaking to
mediapersons, Mr. Dwivedi said that his priorities will be to convert the
university’s NAAC accreditation grade ‘A’ to ‘A++”. Meanwhile, the state government will be requested to take steps to fill up the vacant teaching and
non-teaching posts at the earliest, he added.
He also wished to create a better academic ambience by upgrading the e-library system and developing research facilities at the library for students.
